I was pushed toward signing an NDA by a large charity after I raised concerns about discrimination. Instead of supporting me, the process became about control, with pressure, deadlines, and no fair opportunity to speak up.

My family member assaulted me and forced me under duress to enter an illegal real estate scheme…
Then the other lawyer added several provisions in the settlement including an NDA, mutual release (that released the other lawyer from any liability)

The local police force tried to terminate her (my wife’s) employment using disability discrimination, solicitors were acquired and an employment tribunal case was started.

My employer merged with another company… I was offered a redundancy package and asked to sign an NDA. I refused and the CEO rang me at home and said “that if I didn’t sign it he would ensure that I never worked in the City again”.

I worked at a county chamber of commerce between 2003-2006. I had to sign the Official Secrets Act and an NDA when I started. The place was a hell hole.

Silenced During Maternity Leave: My Story

In late 2019, just before the world changed with the pandemic, my own life was turned upside down. I had relocated cities for a role I loved at a well-known luxury brand in a European Country. I was thriving professionally and felt I had built strong relationships within my team. But while I was on maternity leave, that all abruptly and painfully ended.

In 2023 worked for a local mental health charity who threatened me with an NDA after I was off sick with psychological stress due to how they had treated me.

I was an Anglican priest in a Canadian Diocese. I was terminated without cause. The bishop and HR Officer of the Diocese asked me to sign an NDA in order to receive severance.
